HSC Board Challenge 2026: Dates, Fee, Subject Codes and How to Apply Online

Got a result that doesn’t feel right? You are not the only one. This year’s pass rate fell to 52.12%, and many students are wondering if their answer script was checked properly. The HSC board challenge (also called re-scrutiny) gives you a chance to ask the board to take another look. This guide covers everything: who should apply, how much it costs, and how to fill in the form without mistakes.

What Is the HSC Board Challenge?

Many students think the board will mark their paper again from scratch. That is not how it works. In a board challenge, an examiner only checks the technical side of your script. Was any answer left unmarked? Was the total added up correctly? Were the marks copied to the mark sheet without error? Was your MCQ (OMR) sheet scanned properly?

So if you simply feel you should have got higher marks for your writing, this process will not change that. It is meant to catch human or machine errors, nothing more.

Who Can Apply?

Any examinee of HSC, Alim or equivalent exams 2026 can apply. But applying makes sense only in some cases.

Fee Information

The fee was Tk 150 per paper in the previous round, and the same rate is being followed. A subject with two papers means Tk 300. Check your board’s notice in case of any change.

You can pay through bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Sonali Seba or a Teletalk SIM. The fee is not refundable, even if the board finds nothing wrong. Pick your subjects carefully.

What to Keep Ready

Before opening the website, collect these:

• HSC roll number and registration number (see your admit card)
• Board name and exam year (2026)
• Subject codes of the papers you want checked
• A working mobile number, because the result comes by SMS
• Enough balance in your payment account

How to Fill Up the Form: Step by Step

1. Go to rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd from your phone or computer.
2. Choose the exam (HSC/Alim/Equivalent), year 2026 and your board.
3. Type in your roll, registration and mobile number.
4. Select the subjects. For a two-paper subject, tick both papers.
5. Look at the total fee, confirm, and save the application ID. A screenshot is a good idea.
6. Pay through one of the accepted methods before the deadline. An unpaid application is not counted.
7. Keep the payment SMS safe until the result is out.

No application is accepted at the board office. Also, SMS application was not available in the last round, though Teletalk can be used to pay. If someone offers to “fix” your result for money, stay away. It is a scam.

Always match the code with your admit or registration card.

What Happens After You Apply?

The board collects your script and an examiner goes through the four points mentioned above. If an error is found, your marks and grade are corrected and added to the board’s updated list. Last year, results came out about three and a half weeks after the application window closed, so this year’s result is likely in late November.

One more thing: in rare cases, if the checker finds that your total was given too high, your grade can go down. It does not happen often, but it is possible.

Mistakes That Cost Students Money

Final Words

The HSC board challenge is useful when there is a real doubt, like a failed subject you were sure about or a sudden low grade. Apply between 1 and 7 November, pay on time, and keep your application ID safe. Don’t leave it for the last hour, because the website can get slow when many students log in together.

Remember: The last date is 7 November 2026. Don’t wait for the final day. চূড়ান্ত সময়ের বিষয়ে নিজের বোর্ডের নোটিশ দেখে নিন।

বোর্ড চ্যালেঞ্জ আসলে কী?

অনেকে ভাবেন, বোর্ড চ্যালেঞ্জ করলে খাতা নতুন করে মূল্যায়ন হবে। আসলে তা হয় না। এখানে পরীক্ষক শুধু কিছু কারিগরি বিষয় যাচাই করেন। যেমন কোনো উত্তর নম্বর দেওয়া ছাড়া থেকে গেছে কি না, মোট নম্বর ঠিকভাবে যোগ হয়েছে কি না, নম্বর সঠিকভাবে তোলা হয়েছে কি না, আর এমসিকিউ (OMR) শিট ঠিকমতো স্ক্যান হয়েছে কি না।

অর্থাৎ লেখার মান নিয়ে আপনার আপত্তি থাকলে এই প্রক্রিয়ায় নম্বর বাড়বে না। এটা শুধু মানবিক বা যান্ত্রিক ভুল ধরার জন্য।

কারা আবেদন করতে পারবেন?

২০২৬ সালের এইচএসসি, আলিম ও সমমান পরীক্ষার যেকোনো পরীক্ষার্থী আবেদন করতে পারেন। তবে সবার জন্য এটা দরকারি নয়।

সতর্কতা: শুধু সন্দেহের বশে সব বিষয়ে আবেদন করবেন না। টাকা নষ্ট হবে, ফল বদলাবে না।

ফি সংক্রান্ত তথ্য

আগের বছর ফি ছিল প্রতি পত্র ১৫০ টাকা। এবারও একই হারে আবেদন চলছে। দুই পত্রের বিষয় হলে ফি ৩০০ টাকা। ফি নিয়ে কোনো পরিবর্তন থাকলে বোর্ডের নোটিশ দেখে নেবেন।

বিকাশ, নগদ, রকেট, সোনালী সেবা বা টেলিটক সিম দিয়ে ফি দেওয়া যায়। কিছু না পাওয়া গেলেও ফি ফেরত হয় না, তাই বিষয় বাছাইয়ে সাবধান থাকুন।

আবেদনের আগে যা যা রেডি রাখবেন

• এইচএসসি রোল ও রেজিস্ট্রেশন নম্বর (প্রবেশপত্র দেখুন)
• বোর্ডের নাম এবং পরীক্ষার বছর (২০২৬)
• যে পত্রগুলো যাচাই করাতে চান তার সাবজেক্ট কোড
• চালু মোবাইল নম্বর, কারণ ফলাফল এসএমএসে আসবে
• পেমেন্ট অ্যাকাউন্টে পর্যাপ্ত টাকা

ফরম ফিলাপের নিয়ম: ধাপে ধাপে

১. ফোন বা কম্পিউটার থেকে rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd ওয়েবসাইটে যান।
২. পরীক্ষা (HSC/Alim/Equivalent), বছর ২০২৬ ও আপনার বোর্ড বেছে নিন।
৩. রোল, রেজিস্ট্রেশন ও মোবাইল নম্বর লিখুন।
৪. বিষয় নির্বাচন করুন। দুই পত্রের বিষয়ে অবশ্যই দুটো পত্রই দিন।
৫. মোট ফি দেখে কনফার্ম করুন। অ্যাপ্লিকেশন আইডি লিখে রাখুন বা স্ক্রিনশট নিন।
৬. সময়মতো গ্রহণযোগ্য মাধ্যমে ফি পরিশোধ করুন। টাকা না দিলে আবেদন গণ্য হবে না।
৭. রেজাল্ট না আসা পর্যন্ত পেমেন্টের এসএমএস রেখে দিন।

বোর্ড অফিসে গিয়ে আবেদন করা যায় না। গত বছর এসএমএসেও আবেদন নেওয়া হয়নি, তবে ফি দেওয়ার জন্য টেলিটক ব্যবহার করা গেছে। কেউ টাকার বিনিময়ে রেজাল্ট বদলে দেওয়ার কথা বললে তার কাছ থেকে দূরে থাকুন, এটা প্রতারণা।

প্রচলিত এইচএসসি সাবজেক্ট কোড

নিজের প্রবেশপত্র বা রেজিস্ট্রেশন কার্ড দেখে কোড মিলিয়ে নেবেন।

আবেদনের পর কী হয়?

বোর্ড আপনার খাতা সংগ্রহ করে। একজন পরীক্ষক ওপরের চারটি বিষয় মিলিয়ে দেখেন। ভুল ধরা পড়লে নম্বর ও গ্রেড ঠিক করে বোর্ডের হালনাগাদ তালিকায় যোগ করা হয়। গত বছর আবেদন শেষ হওয়ার প্রায় সাড়ে তিন সপ্তাহ পর ফল এসেছিল, তাই এবারও নভেম্বরের শেষ দিকে আশা করা যায়।

আরেকটা কথা, খুব কম ক্ষেত্রে যাচাইয়ে দেখা যায় নম্বর বেশি দেওয়া হয়েছিল। তখন গ্রেড কমেও যেতে পারে। এমন হওয়া বিরল, কিন্তু অসম্ভব নয়।

যে ভুলগুলোতে টাকা নষ্ট হয়

সত্যিই কোনো সন্দেহ থাকলে, যেমন নিশ্চিত পাস করা বিষয়ে ফেল বা হঠাৎ কম গ্রেড, তখনই বোর্ড চ্যালেঞ্জ কাজে আসে। ১ থেকে ৭ নভেম্বরের মধ্যে আবেদন করুন, সময়মতো ফি দিন, আর অ্যাপ্লিকেশন আইডি সংরক্ষণ করুন। শেষ ঘণ্টার জন্য ফেলে রাখবেন না, কারণ একসঙ্গে অনেকে ঢুকলে ওয়েবসাইট ধীর হয়ে যেতে পারে।
