Mother, daughter die from electrocution in
Jhenidah
A woman and her
daughter died from electrocution in Jhenidah's Harinakundu upazila on Saturday
morning.
The deceased were
Mohiron Nesa, 62, and Taslima Khatun, 35.
According to police
and local sources, around 8am, Taslima came in contact with live electric wire
fell on the floor of their house. When her mother tried to save her, she too
electrocuted.
Hearing cry for help, locals rushed there and found the duo fell on the ground
after being electrocuted.
They died on the spot.
