Morning assembly is a routine in many public and private schools. The students and faculty gather in a common ground to pray for a positive beginning of the day, and the headmaster or the appointed student heads make essential announcements during this time.
The school morning assembly can last from a few minutes to an hour, depending on activities planned during that event. Many schools appoint children to different teams or houses. Most days, the students wear their uniforms; however, once or twice a day, they wear the house uniforms during school assembly.
