Nowadays, book fairs have become very popular. They are organized to increase people's curiosity about books and encourage reading.

A book fair is an event where books are organized for display and sale to the public. All sorts of books, such as novels, rhymes, adventure series, textbooks, dramas, children's books, and reference books, are available here. It is a significant platform for promoting new or old books from home or abroad, connecting authors with readers, and fostering a love for literature.It is usually held in big cities, especially during the month of February, to celebrate International Mother Language Day on the 21th of February. These fairs are typically arranged by organizations like the Bangla Academy or publishing companies. Last year, I visited the Ekushey Book Fair in Dhaka, which was a wonderful experience. The fair was crowded with book lovers of all ages. Numerous/Many stalls displayed books on literature, science, history, and more. I bought some storybooks and science magazines. Famous writers attended the fair, and I was lucky to get autographs from some of them. A book fair encourages reading habits and broadens our knowledge. It’s a valuable platform for writers and publishers to showcase their work, connect with their audience, and expand their reach. Visiting a book fair is both educational and enjoyable, making it a memorable experience for all book lovers
