Conversion of Active and Passive voice examples

  • Rita wrote a letter. (Subject + Verb + Object)
  • A letter was written by Rita.  (Object) + (auxiliary verb) + (past participle) + (by subject).
  • She cooks food. (Subject + Verb + Object)
  • The food is cooked by her. (Object) + (auxiliary verb) + (past participle) + (by subject)
