Extension comprises Obeject(s), Complement and Adverbial. To extend a sentence, we have to use the above mentioned elements. If we get answer asking the verb of the sentence with 'WHAT or WHOM', it is object. Again, a complement is the other word/ phrase related to Subject or Object.
